five essential newborn photos

Portraits

Whether your baby is fast asleep and cozy, or wide awake making tons of eye contact - a great portrait of your little one is an absolute must-have. Perfect for framing, gifting to grandparents, and sharing on social media (if that’s your thing).

Your baby will grow and change so quickly, but this classic newborn photo will ensure you always remember & treasure the newborn stage.

Macro Details

What is your favorite newborn detail? Is it their fuzzy shoulders, dark lashes, tiny fingers and toes? I love to get right up close to capture these tiny features.

A newborn photoshoot captures the little details you never want to forget.

Tummy Time

Probably the most iconic newborn pose. When baby is asleep on their tummy, I can capture all kinds of angles and details. Their side profile, the way their skin wrinkles on their back, and their little hand tucked under their cheek.

Parent’s Hands

Photographing a baby in their parent’s hands is the perfect way to get a sense for how tiny they really are. One day you’ll look back at this photo, and won’t believe how they once fit in the palm of your hand.

Cuddled with Mom & Dad

I know how hard it is to have a nice photo taken with your children, especially when you’re in the thick of the newborn stage. When my son was a newborn, I spent most days in old sweats and a nursing bra with unwashed hair. As it should be! Bringing a baby home is a massive adjustment and an incredible amount of work.

That’s why I’m here.

For these few hours in the photography studio, you don’t have to worry about a thing. I’ll capture all of the sweet moments of you interacting with your baby, holding them close, and surrounding them with love.

These first family portraits will become absolute treasures as your baby grows.

I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s tell your story!
